Monet Calendar Information

This Monet calendar (slim) for 2012 features images of famous

Claude Monet                                                        

Oscar Claude Monet was born on 14th November 1840 in Paris and
from an early age he always intended to become an artist and in 1862
he met other artists such as Renoir , Bazille and Sisley when joining
Charles Gleyre studios. These artists evolved a new approach to art
called impressionism and became known as the Impressionists. Monet
married twice and spent many years at Giverny painting local land-
scapes and his garden. He continued painitng right up to his death
in December 1926.
