Alfred Robert Quinton
A R Quinton (1853 - 1934) was a famous artist whose work centred upon English
landscapes and villages of his time. He travelled extensively across England making
paintings of villages , castles and landscapes. he is thought to have painted over
2000 watercolours. Many of his paintings now feature on postcards and calendars
each year.
