Record Breaking Fish presented by Matt Hayes and Mick Brown

Matt Hayes is widely regarded as one of the best all-round anglers
in Britain while Mick Brown is known to be a predatory angler with
an excellent knowledge of UK fishing sites. Join them both on this ,
their latest challenge , as they travel across England and Wales to
bag some truly monster fish and break many of their own personal
bests , catching some of the biggest fish of their careers. Meeting
some of the current record holders along the way , Matt and Mick
learn more about the fish that they are hoping to catch and when
and how each record is achieved.

On this DVD Matt and Mick fish for mirror carp on Monument Lake
in Shropshire , where Mick lands a personal best with a whopping
44lb 6oz mirror carp. They also go barbel fishing on the Radwell
and Sharnbrook stretch of the River Ouse in Buckinghamshire where
the current carbel record of 19lb 6oz was caught. Although not able
to beat that remarkable catch , Mick manages to break his own personal
barbel record with an impressive 11lb 1oz catch. The boys then take
a boat out onto the Llandegfedd Reservoir in Wales and fish for pike.
It was 12 years ago that the record pike was caught here , weighing in
at 46lb 13oz.
